I&#039;ve updated the post to suggest running &#039;git svn&#039; as a quick check.  I just hope it&#039;s not too confusing that you have to check things are OK by looking for a &#039;fatal&#039; message.</description>

		<description>Your post showed up on Google for me, and it was helpful. I found that the problem occurred even if I ran &quot;git svn&quot; without trying to do anything. Perhaps you could modify your tutorial to use that instead of requiring a full &quot;git svn clone ....&quot;</description>
